About The Artist
Sheryl Knight is an award-winning plein air artist, best known for her vibrant oil paintings, yet recognized as a leading voice in the modern revival of gouache. Her velvety impressions of California coasts, mountains, meadows, and skies capture the beauty of our natural world and are instantly recognizable to collectors. Sheryl lives on the California Central Coast, but grew up in Northern California, where her love for nature and the outdoors first began.
