About the Instructor
Brandon Smith is a committed educator and an award-winning professional artist, known for his street scenes, landscapes, and occasional still life.
Brandon is a graduate of the Academy of Art University San Francisco, where he taught for more than 20 years. During his tenure at the Academy, he led Summer study programs in Florence Italy, and also helped set up, then taught online classes. Now living on the Central Coast, he teaches a variety of subjects including Anatomy, Figure Drawing, Still Life and Landscape at Allan Hancock College. Brandon’s art is exhibited at The Gallery Arroyo Grande, where he also leads a variety of evening and weekend workshops.
About the Class
The class will be taught at The Gallery in Arroyo Grande, with ‘en plein air’ assignments in and around the Village. The class is open to all skill levels, from beginner-intermediate to advanced. A full list of materials required will be provided upon registration.

The Gallery reserves the right to cancel the workshop if minimum participant level is not met, in which case any tickets purchased will be fully refunded.
