ABOUT THE EVENT
The Gallery AG is proud to present The Dignity of Labor, a powerful and evocative exhibit by acclaimed California artist Warren Chang. Meet the artist in person at this special event, and engage in an afternoon of conversation, insight, and storytelling.
Known for his depictions of fieldworkers, Warren Chang captures quiet dignity, resilience and humanity with striking detail and emotional depth. Warren will give a lecture including slides about his artistic journey and portrayal of field workers.
Educator and president of the Arroyo Grande Historic Society, Jim Gregory will open the session with a talk providing context about the history of Farming & Field Workers in our Valley.
