We've experimented with a lot of different containers and though a lot of them claim to be watertight, these actually are watertight. Heavy duty, yet light in weight these Bowls are easy to move and best of all they're available in your choice of 45 different colors. Please provide a note at checkout with the bowl color you would like. Bowl colors are referenced in the product photos.
- UNDERGOUND BASIN: 2x2 fountain water tight basin is a great reservoir for underground installations. Holds 12 gallons. Comes complete with basin, grate, & screen. Measures 24" x 24" x 8". Simply locate where you want your fountain, dig out a square hole 8" deep (be careful when digging so as not to damage pipes, gas or electric lines), place basin in hole checking for level, attach pump, hose to bottom of fountain, lay on grate and you're good to start decorating with decorative rocks and landscaping.
MINI-MOD X4 STAINLESS STEEL FOUNTAIN
My intent throughout my career as a sculptor is to bring large scale and monumental minimalist art/sculpture/fountains to the widest audience possible. To achieve this goal I primarily work in corten steel sheet which is similar to mild steel except that it's alloys include nickel, copper and chromium. These alloys protect the steel's iron and slows the rusting process, while resulting in gorgeous patinas. Corten is often used as architectural siding and in terms of sculpture is relatively low in cost allowing for procurement by a wider audience than traditional metal sculpture. The fountains I create are dramatic, compelling, scalable and instill a magnetic visceral connection with the viewer and the communities they live in. I've been told by Architects and Landscape Architects that they site my work because with or without water they are dramatic focal points that enhance their surroundings.
